z-wave and local control of the light is possible and the Z-Wave controller will be able to override the manual switch. Designed to be hidden away behind existing wall switch and works with or without neutral lead. Its compact size means that it can be fitted inside wall boxes, directly behind a wall switch or can located anywhere between the switch and load.
If you don't have a neutral wire at the wall switch the dimmer requires a minimum load of 50W on the lighting circuit otherwise you will need to use a dimmer bypass for load less than 50W.
